CloudBerry Backup for Linux runs and uses a number of processes. This topic provides a brief description of those processes.
View a List of Running Backup Processes
The names of CloudBerry Backup processes always start with cbb.
To view a list of running CloudBerry Backup processes, use the following command:
ps -aux | grep cbb
Description of Backup Processes
The following table overviews CloudBerry Backup processes.
|cbbLocalManagement||Performs auxilary tasks, such as watching schedule, starting plans, reading/changing configuration files, and so on and so forth.|
|cbbRemoteManagement||Supports Remote Management Service.|
|cbbWebAccess||CloudBerry Backup for Linux and Mac has a web interface that provides a remote access to the application UI. The web interface service runs as the cbbWebAccess process.

|cbbGUI||Supports CloudBerry Backup GUI.|
|cbbCommandLine||Supports CloudBerry Backup Command Line Interface|
|cbbSessionAccess||Executes the pre-action and post-action scripts, and establishes SSH connections from the Managed Backup portal.|
|cbbWorker||Supports the plans management operations, such as launching the backup and restore plans, synchronizing repositories, etc.|
For plans to start on schedule, it is unnecessary to keep CloudBerry Backup GUI open.
